Convergence is a gathering of felt makers and sharing knowledge is the underlying theme. It is four full days of immersion and indulgence in every aspect of felt making suitable for all levels of experience. Anyone interested in felt making and textiles should attend. There is no need to belong to a formal textile organisation or felting group. Just come along, learn, share, felt and have fun.

South West Fashion Felt - Art To Wear Organic Fashion

The felt pieces created by members of the Bunbury Felting Group were displayed under the label "Art to Wear Organic Fashion" which really captures the essence of hand made garments produced from Australian merino wool and natural fibres.

The parade opened with this felt nuno wrap by designer Jean Braund.

We are pleased you like Jean's creation. Keep looking in on us as there is plenty more beautiful felt. We just checked out your Lunchtime Adventures in the Garden blog and there is so much inspiration there for a felter! Jean's Butterfly Cape, which we will be featuring soon, would certainly look right at home in your beautiful garden world.

thanks for taking a look - i am a felter with the canberra region feltmakers and find so much inspiration in nature. Ive been resisting temptation to start a blog on felting as well as the two other blogs i write - i will spend my life blogging! Perhaps I will get around to making a website instead, one day...

Yes, so much to do, so little time. The Canberra Feltmakers are a pretty busy and talented group too from what we have seen.
